Explore the principles of mechanics with the Mideer DIY Mechanics Science Kit. This hands-on STEM kit lets children aged 8 and up construct three fully working mechanical models from scratch, a glider aircraft, a push-and-release lever car, and a mechanical claw, while discovering the forces and principles that make each one move.

Science you can see in action. Each model demonstrates a core concept in mechanics. The glider teaches aerodynamics and lift, showing how wing shape and air resistance allow an aircraft to travel through the air. The lever car introduces stored energy and release mechanisms, demonstrating how force applied to a lever can propel an object forward. The mechanical claw brings levers and linkages to life as pushing the handle up and down translates movement through the structure to open and close the claw, just like a real grabbing machine.

Everything included, no extra tools needed. Pre-cut cardboard and paper sheets, wooden sticks, a wood board, EVA sheet, straw, string, rubber bands, balls, double-sided tape, and a sticker sheet are all provided. Simply follow the steps and build.
