The picturesque fishing village of Crail is situated on the east coast of Scotland, in the county of Fife. The curved breakwater, providing shelter from the Forth, dates back to the 16th century. The straight west pier was built by Robert Stevenson in 1826. Stevenson was a lighthouse engineer, whose many noteworthy achievements were somewhat overshadowed by his grandson Robert Louis Stevenson of literary fame.

Crail is home to Fife’s crab and lobster fleet, and subject to tide and weather, sea-fresh shellfish can be bought by visitors from the harbour side.

As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market. Everyone loves a Gibsons jigsaw, even Her Majesty the Queen has been spotted with one.
